Welcome!
On behalf of the organizing team, we welcome your in-person participation in the 10th International Workshop on Materials Analysis and Processing in Magnetic Fields (MAP10).
The workshop is designed to facilitate discussions about recent advances of research and technology using magnetic field interactions in the study of materials properties and processing. Invited topics for discussion will include fundamental experimental investigations, emerging theoretical and numerical advances, and industrial applications.
The scientific program will feature plenary lectures, invited presentations, and contributed papers. Both oral and poster sessions are planned. In addition, a day trip to the main campus of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (MagLab) in Tallahassee will be organized, including a visit to Wakulla Springs.
In you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email the conference team and someone will assist you.
Thank you for your participation and the strong support from our sponsors!
Sincerely, Mark Meisel

Workshop Origins
The origins of this workshop trace back to 2004, when Hans J. Schneider-Muntau organized the first one at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, Florida. After an interruption due to the pandemic and its aftermath, the most recent workshop (MAP9) was held in Miyazaki, Japan in 2023.
The complete list of previous host locations is: Miyazaki (2023), Grenoble (2018), Providence (2016), Okinawa (2014), Grenoble‑Autrans (2012), Atlanta (2010), Tokyo (2008), Grenoble (2006) and Tallahassee (2004).
This Workshop is Supported / Sponsored by National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (NHMFL or MagLab), University of Florida: Office of Research, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), Center for Condensed Matter Sciences (CCMS), Department of Physics, and Department of Materials Science & Engineering. Others to be announced.
